Despite winning back-to-back Premier League titles with Leicester City and Chelsea, N’Golo Kante insists there are many players at Chelsea who have won more titles than him.
The midfielder, who was recently voted Premier League Player of the Season, also revealed he joined Chelsea so he can continue learning and improving.
“It is good to win awards but the most important is to win together,” Kante told The Sun.
“I play in Chelsea, we have many players who have won more things than me – they have won everything.
“Me, I am just here to work. Two Premier League titles is good but it doesn’t mean much in this changing room, there are many players who have won.
“I came to Chelsea to work, to keep learning and to keep improving. We have some great players at Chelsea and the most important is the goal to win.
“The players have all worked hard this season, you cannot forget this,
“I am just one player of the team, I try to just have the same goal as the team.
“I try not to get carried away and to only focus on the team goals to keep winning, to keep performing to the best I can.”
