The question of whether Chelsea star Eden Hazard will remain at the club next season is one that many football fans are waiting for the answer.
The 26-year-old has put away his struggles of last season to become one of the best players in the league this season, and if not for the form and consistency of a certain N’Golo Kante, Hazard would easily have won both the PFA and FWA Player of the Year awards.
Football pundit and former Arsenal striker John Hartson believes that keeping Eden Hazard will be very important if Chelsea must challenge for the Champions League next season.
“If you lose Hazard, you lose almost 30 per cent of your team,” he said on BT Sport.
“He is irreplaceable. It’s vital that they try and keep hold of him.
“I think money talks. Does it really talk with Chelsea?
“I think they’ve got so much money anyway, they’ve got an unbelievably rich owner in Abramovich.
“But it’s replacing these players and continuing to challenge for these titles.”
