Everton striker Romelu Lukaku left Chelsea in 2014 to join Everton and the Belgian striker has been linked with a return to Chelsea after an impressive season with Everton.
Chelsea legend Frank Lampard revealed Lukaku wasn’t ready to spearhead Chelsea’s attack during his time at Chelsea but admitted Lukaku has improved since leaving Chelsea.
“He’s very different, he’s improved a lot,” he said on Sky Sports.
“He was quite raw at Chelsea before but you could see he had the talent.
“He wasn’t ready to be a Chelsea striker.
“What I did see was his ethic on the training ground. He’s obviously taken that through with him now.
“He’s not very delicate on the ball and maybe his hold-up play can improve.
“His audition has been the season and how he’s performed.”
