Chelsea defender David Luiz won the Premier League title for the first time this season and the defender spent over a million pounds on luxiry gifts for his Chelsea title-winning team-mates, manager Antonio Conte and owner Roman Abramovich.
Luiz bought 30 wrist-worn supercar keys which were handed out to the players at Chelsea’s Cobham training base on Friday morning as souvenirs for winning the Premier League.
The bespoke Senturion keys, which will be linked to unlock the luxury cars of the players, feature a fusion of precious metals and advanced blue carbon fibre composites with each one personally engraved according to a report by Daily Mail.
Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich got a special gift, an extra-special edition of the bespoke Senturion key forged from a 4.9 billion-year-old meteorite, older than earth itself.
Each player has their name engraved while Luiz’s key has the words “God is Great, DL” engraved inside.
According to Daily Mail, Prices for Senturion keys start at £38,000 but bespoke pieces, like those to be worn by Luiz and Abramovich, carry six-figure price tags.
Senturion’s Director of Communications, Ayla Varquin said: “It was very generous of David to commission special Senturion pieces for his team-mates.
“While normally we produce editions of only seven pieces, in this case it was our pleasure to create a custom edition of 30 for his Chelsea team-mates.”
Senturion specialise in luxury wrist-wear, enabling you to wear your supercar on your wrist.
