MICHY BATSHUAYI CAN TAKE COSTA’S SPOT NEXT SEASON CLAIMS FORMER CHELSEA STAR

Former Chelsea striker Tore Andre Flo believes 23-year-old Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi could have a big impact at Chelsea next season and take Diego Costa’s spot.

Batshuayi hasn’t started a league game for Chelsea this season following his £33million move from Marseille last summer but he became an unexpected Chelsea hero on Friday after his goal helped Chelsea win the Premier League title.

Flo scored 50 goals in over 163 appearances for Chelsea including his memorable hat-trick at White Hart Lane in our famous 6-1 win against Tottenham. He is now a youth coach at Chelsea.

“He is at a very good club and obviously scoring that goal must have boosted his confidence,” Flo told talkSPORT.

“He has shown he could be a really good player and hopefully he can step up a level and maybe take Costa’s spot.

“He seems to be a very popular player among his teammates. He works hard in training and has a great attitude.”
