After his initial 2012/2013 season with Chelsea, Chelsea wing-back Victor Moses went on three different loan spells and wasn’t given a chance under former manager Jose Mourinho, despite shining time and again during pre-season.

Antonio Conte came and gave the Nigeria international a chance instantly, and the 26-year-old has nothing but praise for the Italian.

“I’ve always believed in the ability I have,” said the Nigerian. “I’ve always felt I had the ability to play for a big club like Chelsea and I’ve proved that. We have a new manager here who is willing to give everybody an opportunity. He gave me the opportunity and I haven’t looked back. I’m enjoying my football right now and I just want to keep on enjoying it until the end of the season.”

Moses has been a key player for Chelsea this season and will be winning his first Premier League medal this campaign. It has indeed been a beautiful season for him.

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
