Diego Costa has been in fine form since signing for Chelsea, and the 28-year-old who has scored 20 league goals was a key part of Chelsea going on to win the league this season, Costa’s second league title in just three seasons.
The Brazilian-born Spain international has been strongly linked with a move to China, and his former teammate Oscar, has revealed that he’d be happy to have Costa in China.
“It’s hard for me to give specific advice to Costa. The only thing I can tell him is that I quite enjoy my life in China,” Oscar told CCTV-5.
“I don’t have any problems so far. The culture here is obviously very different from that of my country, but we are getting used to it, bit by bit.
“Everyone has got to figure out the things he wants most. And I believe coming to China is the best choice for me.
“If Costa moves here, I will be delighted. He is pursuing happiness and I hope everyone has a happy life.”
Oscar who joined Shanghai SIPG from Chelsea is enjoying a fine start to the CSL season, as his team sit just two points behind leaders Guangzhou Evergrande Taobao.
