Chelsea captain and legend John Terry is set to leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the season after joining Chelsea as a 14-year-old about 22 years ago.
When asked if Terry should continue playing when he leaves Chelsea at the end of the season, Chelsea boss Antonio Conte said: “For sure he has the possibility to continue his career, we know he is preferring to play regularly, so he is deciding to leave to play regularly every week.
“While he has the possibility to do this, because he is still strong. When I call him to play he shows this.
“It is very important when you arrive at this point in your career you must feel yourself, your body and feel if you have desire and fight to work every day very hard. If so it is right to continue. He has all this characteristics.”
