Dominic Solanke is no longer a Chelsea player, as Liverpool have now confirmed the signing of the 19-year-old Chelsea striker.
Solanke is a Chelsea academy product and has been at the club since he was 8. He failed to sign a new contract with the club and never played a game under Antonio Conte.
Liverpool, in an official statement confirmed the signing of Solanke, thus: “Liverpool FC have agreed personal terms with Dominic Solanke to sign the England youth international this summer.
“The 19-year-old striker will complete the transfer to the Reds on July 1, 2017, upon the expiry of his contract with his current club, Chelsea.
So sad to see a highly-rated youngster leave the club on a cheap.
