Chelsea star Eden Hazard has been continually linked with Real Madrid, but the English champions are unwilling to sell their most prized asset to Real Madrid.
This recent development has now prompted Real Madrid to compete with Manchester United for the signing of Bernardo Silva after making the Monaco midfielder one of their priority transfer targets, according to reports in France.
Le10 Sport claim that with Chelsea refusing to make Hazard available for sale this summer, Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane will now look elsewhere for a new attacking midfielder. And Silva has now been identified by Madrid’s hierarchy as the player they want to replace James Rodriguez, who will be sold this summer.
With Real Madrid now interested in Bernardo Silva, United boss Jose Mourinho will be hoping the Spanish giants get Hazard, so United will have less competition for Silva.
