Chelsea have granted Brighton and Newcastle United permission to speak to Tammy Abraham about a potential loan move next season according to a report by The Telegraph (via Daily Express).
The 19-year-old striker impressed while on loan at Bristol City, scoring 26 goals in all competitions this season.
Chelsea want Abraham to continue his development by playing Premier League football next season and both Brighton and Newcastle have acted swiftly to try and secure a deal for the England Under-21 international, however Brighton are said to be leading the chase.
The report also claims Chelsea plan to tie Abraham down to a new long-term deal before sending him out on loan for the 2017/18 season.
Chelsea plan to phase Abraham into Antonio Conte’s first team plans when he returns from his second loan spell.
