Chelsea reportedly want to sign Germany Under-17 star Jann-Fiete Arp this summer according to the Daily Mirror.
The Blues have kept tabs on the Hamburg goal machine for over six months and reportedly want to bring the youngster to Stamford Bridge this summer.
Arp scored 26 goals in 21 games for Hamburg’s youth sides this season.
Arp has a contract at Hamburg until 2018, and Hamburg’s sporting director Jens Todt insists Hamburg wish to extend his deal.
“We want to extend with him, without if and but. We all know that he has what it takes to be a Bundesliga player – and not just since yesterday,” Todt said.
German side Borussia Dortmund are reportedly interested in the 17-year-old striker but Chelsea believe they can persuade the youngster to come to Stamford Bridge.
