Four Chelsea youngsters featured for the young Three Lions as England triumphed at the Toulon Tournament for the second year in a row.
Former U18 manager and our new development squad manager Joe Edwards, was part of the backroom staff for England.
Josh Grant and Reece James started in defence for the young Lions, while Ike Ugbo and Tariq Uwakwe were second-half substitutes.
David Brooks, who was named player of the tournament, won a penalty in the last minute of the first-half, and duly converted.
Ivory Coast equalised from the penalty spot with just 15 seconds remaining through Loba and the game was settled in a penalty shootout. The Young Lions carried the day as they won the shootout 5-4 to retain the Toulon Tournament trophy.
