With Robert Lewandowski’s agent admitting that his client is unhappy at Bayern Munich, there have been reports about an interest from both Chelsea and Manchester United.

The Poland international had been linked with a move to both Manchester United and Chelsea after publicly expressing his disappointment with the Bavarians after he missed out on the Bundesliga top scorer award.

However, Bayern Munich have issued a statement insisting that Lewandowski will not be allowed to leave the club. They also warned interested clubs that they would be reported to FIFA if they decide to tap the 28-year-old.

A statement read: “Robert Lewandowski has a contract at FC Bayern which he recently has extended until 2021. FC Bayern does not have any thoughts about a transfer.

“There are no talks with other clubs and there won’t be any. If other clubs negotiate with players who have long-term contracts they risk getting sanctioned by FIFA.”
