Asmir Begovic was a Chelsea goalkeeper for two seasons and played second fiddle to Blues number one goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.
He has been sold to Bournemouth and reports claim Manchester City’s Willy Caballero could replace the Bosnian as the backup goalkeeper at Stamford Bridge and the Argentinean has reportedly agreed personal terms ahead of a possible move to Chelsea.
Begovic’s recent act on social media suggests he isn’t in support of the Manchester City number 2 who didn’t really impress Pep Guardiola come to Chelsea. The former Chelsea goalkeeper liked a tweet which reads: “We [Chelsea] can do better than Caballero.”
To prove his dislike for the move, he also liked a tweet which criticised Antonio Conte for considering a move for Caballero over an up-and-coming keeper.
“There are better young GKs out there better than Caballero,” the second tweet reads.
