34-year-old Brazilian and Juventus right-back Dani Alves has been linked with a move to Chelsea this summer and it seems the rumours are beginning to get stronger.
According to Brazilian media outlet UOL Esporte, the 34-year-old defender has given Italian club Juventus an ultimatum to offer him an extra year on his deal or he will consider leaving them for the Premier League.
Alves joined Juventus from Barcelona last summer as a free agent, signing a two-year deal which would keep him at Turin until 2018.
Alves is reportedly happy at Juventus but he wants his long-term future sorted.
Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is reportedly interested in the Brazilian with Conte thought to see the qualities of the Brazilian fitting into the 3-4-3 system at Chelsea.
I really don’t know if Conte would put a bid for Alves but I hope we don’t. Alves is 34 and signing a player at that age comes with a lot of risks.
