With Chelsea set to announce the signing of Monaco star Tiemoue Bakayako anytime soon, after a deal worth £35m has been agreed, Chelsea midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah who returned from a loan spell with Napoli ahead of last season wants to have discussions about his future.

According to Standard Sport, Chalobah will now sit down for crunch talks with Conte over his future at Stamford Bridge.

The 22-year-old has a year left on his contract and Chelsea are keen on extending it, but the Chelsea academy product wants to know what his future holds at the club after representing England at the U21s championship.

Already, it’s believed that England boss Gareth Southgate sees the potential in Chalobah to play the anchor midfield role for the Three Lions senior team, but his lack of game time at Stamford Bridge is a factor.
