19-year-old Chelsea goal machine Tammy Abraham will reportedly sign a new Chelsea contract worth around £50,000-a-week before joining Swansea City on loan for next season according to a report on The Telegraph.
Newcastle United and Brighton were reportedly interested in the young striker but Swansea City won the race to sign Abraham on loan for next season.
Abraham impressed while on loan at Bristol City last season, scoring 26 goals in all competitions and Chelsea are set to reward the youngster with a new contract as the Blues secure his long-term future.
Chelsea hope a season in the Premier League would prepare Tammy Abraham for a place in the first team next season.
According to The Telegraph, Chelsea boss Antonio Conte will not sign any young striker who could block Abraham’s progression to the senior side. Chelsea reportedly turned down the opportunity to sign Brazilian forward Gabigol last season because the Blues have high hopes for Abraham.
