England U20 are World champions, as they lifted the U20 World Cup held in South Korea after defeating Venezuela 1-0 in the finals on Saturday.
Chelsea sent their congratulations to England’s heroic World Cup winning Under-20 stars – but ignored Dominic Solanke who ended the tournament as the Golden Ball winner.
The 19-year-old is set to leave Chelsea in the coming weeks, having already agreed a deal to join Liverpool this summer, a move that has angered the Chelsea fans.
The official Chelsea website highlighted the contributions from their youth stars Jake Clarke-Salter and Fikayo Tomori and also mentioned several of England’s other young heroes, but failed to mention Solanke, despite him still technically being a Chelsea player.
Solanke refused to sign a new Chelsea contract, before agreeing terms with Liverpool.
