Chelsea legend John Terry is a free agent this summer and the 36-year-old is weighing up several offers as he contemplates his next move after leaving Chelsea.
According to a report on Daily Mirror, Terry is willing to play for a Championship side as he fancies getting more silverware.
Championship duo Aston Villa and Birmingham are reportedly interested in signing Terry.
Premier League sides Bournemouth, West Brom and Swansea have also held talks with Terry but the report on Daily Mirror claims Terry is hesitant to go to another Premier League club because he doesn’t want to play against Chelsea.
Terry reportedly doesn’t relish joining a Premier League club that would be involved in a relegation fight.
Birmingham manager Harry Redknapp has confirmed he would love to have Terry at his club.
“It is up to John. We would love to have him here,” Redknapp said.
“I have always been a great John Terry fan. I would love to have him at Birmingham. He would be a massive player for us.”
