Chelsea are set to kick off a huge spending this week with the Blues set to spend £240million on four signings.
Chelsea won’t announce any signings until July 1st when the Nike deal becomes official.
The first of the four £240million signings is expected to be Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko. Chelsea have reportedly agreed a £36.7million fee with Monaco for the 22-year-old midfielder.
Bakayoko is expected to sign a five-year deal this year and the signing is expected to be announced later this week.
The signing of Juventus left-back Alex Sandro is expected to take Chelsea’s spending to £97.9million after reports emerged Chelsea have agreed a £61.2million deal for the Brazilian.
The 26-year-old has reportedly told Juventus he wants to join Chelsea and various reports claim he has agreed terms with Chelsea.
Antonio Conte wants to strengthen Chelsea’s defence by adding Southampton’s central defender Virgil van Dijk to the squad and this could cost Chelsea between £60-70million. Chelsea are yet to agree a fee with Southampton for the Holland international.
Everton striker Romelu Lukaku is expected to make a return to Chelsea this summer and Chelsea is expected to pay at least £70million for the 24-year-old though Everton are expected to demand £80million for the striker.
Chelsea would spend at least £240million if all four of these signings are completed.
