Loic Remy’s loan spell at Crystal Palace last season didn’t go according to plan, as injury ruined his season even before it started, with the Frenchman being on the sidelines for over six months.

Remy hasn’t scored since all the way back in December 2015 and will definitely not have a role under Antonio Conte next season.

He currently has a year left on his Chelsea contract and the club are hoping to sell him on the cheap this summer.

The 30-year-old striker who played just eight games for the Eagles, failing to score a single goal, earns £80,000 per week and that might be a stumbling block as clubs will frown at paying such a high salary for an injury prone 30-year-old.

There are not a high number of suitors for the Frenchman at the moment, though one of his old clubs Marseille are said to be looking into a possible reunion with him.

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
