Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is reportedly not a happy man following disputes with the Chelsea board over the signing of Everton striker Romelu Lukaku according to Metro UK.
Conte has made Lukaku is priority target as he seeks to replace Diego Costa in Chelsea and he is keen for for the deal to be secured as quickly as possible.
However, the report by Metro UK claim Chelsea’s hierarchy are not willing to pay the €90 million (£78.6m) required to land the Belgium international, who was sold to Everton for £28m three years ago.
Conte is reportedly not happy with Chelsea’s board for the refusal to meet Everton’s asking price as he wants Lukaku to be a Chelsea player by the time the squad begin pre-season training on July 3.
Yesterday, reports in the Italian media claimed Conte is becoming frustrated with Chelsea over the lack of urgency in the transfer market.
