Chelsea striker Diego Costa has carried a sad face while on international duty with Spain, since his recent fracas with Chelsea manager Antonio Conte.
A recent misunderstanding between the Chelsea boss and Chelsea’s top scorer ensued while Costa was on international duty with Spain, and the Brazilian-born forward speaking after their 2-2 draw with Colombia on Wednesday night said: “I’m a Chelsea player, but they do not want me there.
“Antonio Conte has told me by message that I do not follow at Chelsea and that’s it. Conte said he did not count on me for next season.
“My relationship with the coach has been bad this season.”
Since the incident, Costa has been seen whispering with Andres Iniesta during training and biting his nails on the bench over the past couple of days.
