Juventus have already rejected a bid of £50m from Chelsea for their left-back Alex Sandro.
Juventus general director Giuseppe Marotta confirmed the offer just last week.
Marotta said: “Our desire is to not sell any of our most important players.
“We said no to a very good offer from Chelsea for Alex Sandro.
“But we know that we are competing with clubs that are in a position to offer wages that are not rational for us.
“Players are always their own boss. I do not know how Alex Sandro reacted.”
However, Italian football expert Tancredi Palmeri reports that Juventus are already on the lookout for a replacement for Sandro.
Palmeri wrote on Twitter: “Juventus have contacted Borussia Dortmund for Rapha Guerreiro as replacement for Alex Sandro if he will leave for Chelsea.”
Sandro is said to be interested in the move to West London and could Juve’s hunt for a new left-back mean that they might just accept the next bid from Chelsea? Only time can tell.
