Chelsea have been linked with Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski and if there’s anyone who can replicate Lewandowski’s form for Chelsea in the near future, it’s Chelsea youngster Tammy Abraham.
Abraham will lead the line for England Under-21s against Poland in a must-win Euros group game on Thursday, after reports claim that he’s heading to Swansea on loan for next season.
U21 boss Aidy Boothroyd has heaped massive praises on the Chelsea striker.
He said: “His all-round play has been really good.
“He is honest and genuine. You have to drag him off the training ground — he is so enthusiastic, he claps himself when he wins a corner. He is a genuinely good guy.
“He can score goals, and all the other stuff he also does well.
“He is fearless — no fear. He believes in his own ability. He has had a terrific international career.
“He pushed on at Bristol City and earned an U21 place and now he maybe will ply his trade in the Premier League. Hopefully he will play regularly, wherever he goes.”
