Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has just discovered that anytime his partner gives birth to a baby, he ends up winning the league.
The Spaniard tweeted that the births of his three kids have so far all coincided with title wins at both Barcelona and Chelsea, and he has now joked that he’d have his fourth child next season so that he can win the league as well.
Fabregas’ first daughter Lia was born in 2013, while he was still a Barcelona player, and he ended up winning the La Liga title at the end of the 2012/13 campaign with Barca.
The birth of his second daughter, Capri in 2015, ensured he won the Premier League for the first time in his debut season as a Chelsea player.
And now, with the birth of his third child Leonardo in 2017, Chelsea ended up as champions.
Arsenal fans will definitely ruing their ill luck, as Fabregas never had a baby while with the Gunners.
