The fixtures for the 2017/2018 Premier League season have been announced today and the Blues will start our title defence with a game against Burnley at Stamford Bridge. The last time Chelsea played Burnley in a season opener (2014/15), Chelsea went on to win the league.
Our second game of the season will be a London derby between the best two teams in the country as Tottenham host Chelsea at their new home, Wembley Stadium. Chelsea won Tottenham 4-2 in the FA Cup semifinal last season at Wembley and Chelsea fans will be hoping for the same.
Our final August Premier League game will see Everton visit Stamford Bridge. Everton haven’t won at Stamford Bridge since 1994 and the last time they visited Stamford Bridge, Chelsea smashed them 5-0.
In September, Chelsea will travel to Leicester City and Stoke City as well as play Manchester City and Arsenal at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea will play both Manchester United and Liverpool in November. Over the busy festive period we play Everton away just before Christmas, before successive home matches against Brighton & Hove Albion, on Boxing Day, and Stoke. We then play Arsenal away on New Year’s Day.
Tottenham and West Ham will visit Stamford Bridge at the end of March and beginning of April, with our final home game coming against Liverpool. Chelsea will travel to Newcastle United for our final game of the season.
