Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is set to face more transfer frustration after reports emerged that Juventus left-back Alex Sandro is set to snub a move to Chelsea.
According to a report on The Sun, the Brazilian left-back is set to stay at Juventus and sign a new contract worth £93,000-a-week, which would make him the club’s third best-paid player behind Gonzalo Higuain and Paulo Dybala.
The report claims Juventus have been irked by Chelsea’s public pursuit of Sandro and directors Beppe Marotta and Fabio Paratici met with Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri to thrash out a suitable offer for Sandro.
Juventus are also reportedly willing to sign Sandro’s good friend Danilo from Real Madrid in a bid to make Sandro happy and stay at Juventus.
Sandro would definitely improve Chelsea’s squad and as a Chelsea fan, I hope Sandro can be convinced to join the Blues.
