Chelsea star Eden Hazard injured himself during training about two weeks ago while on international duty with Belgium.
The 26-year-old is set to be out for three months, and could miss three big games for Chelsea as the new season will begin in August.
Hazard will miss a host of crucial games for Chelsea as he recovers from ankle surgery, with the Belgian expected to be back in training in September. The winger will miss two matches against Arsenal and the London derby against Tottenham at Wembley.
Chelsea will play Arsenal on the 6th of August in the Community Shield, a week before the opening of the new season. Chelsea will play Tottenham on August 19 at the Wembley Stadium and Arsenal on September 16 at Stamford Bridge. With Hazard believed to resume training in September, he might be unavailable for Chelsea’s clash against Manchester City on September 30 at Stamford Bridge.
