Chelsea are close to making the deal to bring Tiemoue Bakayoko to Stamford Bridge a done one and according to Shaka Hislop, the coming of Bakayako could lead to the exit of Nemanja Matic to Manchester United.
Former West Ham goalkeeper Shaka Hislop sees both deals happening this summer.
“I think both of these are hits,” the former West Ham goalkeeper told ESPN FC.
“Matic featured maybe not as heavily as he would have liked under Antonio Conte, who I think is still trying to find the perfect partner alongside N’Golo Kante. He is indispensable in my opinion.
“Clearly Conte thinks Bakayoko is that man to give a little bit of what Matic does, a little bit of what Fabregas does. He’s the perfect fit.
“There’s also no question in my mind that Manchester United are in desperate need of a defensive midfielder, who can also get forward.
“Given how good Matic was, given his relationship with Jose Mourinho, that for me is a perfect fit.
“Those are two easy hits in my opinion.”
