With unfounded rumours rife that Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is willing to quit Stamford Bridge, as he’s unhappy with the Chelsea board, another Conte has decided to join Israeli club Beitar Jerusalem.
There’s indeed such a thing a thing as mistaken identity, as a lot of people get to share the same first name and surname, and this French version of Conte shares the same surname as the Chelsea boss and their first names are very similar.
Beitar Jerusalem has just announced the signing of Conte, but no need to worry; it’s Antoine Conte and not Antonio Conte.
The french right-back – who shares the same surname and a very similar first name to the Chelsea manager – has just signed a three-year deal with the Israeli club.
