Chelsea have been linked with Juventus left-back Alex Sandro this summer and reports in Italy claim Juventus have accepted a bid from Chelsea for the Brazilian.

According to Italian media outlet Corriere della Sera via Metro UK, Chelsea have matched Juve’s asking price of €70 million (£61.2million), which would make Sandro the most expensive defender in the world.

Despite Marcos Alonso’s excellent form for Chelsea last season, Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has made signing the Juventus left-back a priority this summer.

The report also claim that Sandro has told Juventus that he wants to join Chelsea.

Juventus are reportedly satisfied with Chelsea’s bid for the defender and Sandro has agreed terms with Chelsea according to the report on Metro UK.

If this report is true, we should expect Chelsea to announce the signing on July 1st when the Nike deal with Chelsea kicks off.
