Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante is a classic example of the ‘from nothing to something’ story. The 26-year-old endured an anonymous career till he became a star in the Leicester City team. He was one of the best players in the league as he helped Leicester City win their first ever Premier League title.
The Frenchman then moved to Chelsea and didn’t only help Chelsea to the title but won the best player award in the process after a stellar season.
Speaking with the official Chelsea website, Kante has revealed he’d like to live in Paris after he’s done with football.
He said: “At the moment I would say Paris. That’s my home.”
When asked the first time he left his country France, the Chelsea midfielder answered: “That would have been when I went to Mali. I was about 11 and it was very exciting. I got to meet a lot of my family too.”
Kante is expected to have a new midfield partner in Tiemoue Bakayako next season with reports claiming Nemanja Matic will leave for Manchester United.
