Bayern Munich Robert Lewandowski is the man of the moment as he voiced out his disappointment with Bayern Munich manager Carlo Ancelotti and his teammates after missing out on getting the Bundesliga highest goalscorer award, after being beaten by Borussia Dortmund’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on the last day of the season.
Bayern Munich have since released a statement telling clubs to back off from their prized forward.
In a statement, the German club said: “Robert Lewandowski has a contract with FC Bayern, which he recently extended to 2021.
“Bayern are not thinking about any move for Lewandowski.
“There are no talks with other clubs, and there will not be.
“If other clubs negotiate with a player who still has a long-term contract, they risk punishment from FIFA.
“The player’s agent also assured us that he did not hold talks with any other club.”
The Bayern Munich striker seems to be unhappy with the statement and has sent a cryptic message to his club to ‘read between the lines’.
