Manchester City and PSG are keen on hijacking Chelsea’s move for Juventus left-back Alex Sandro with both clubs showing late interest in the defender according to a report on Metro UK.
Chelsea appeared to be close to concluding a deal for the Brazilian but according to Italian journalist, Gianluca Di Marzio, Manchester City and PSG are preparing to enter the race for the 26-year-old.
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is the market for as many as four new fullbacks and with a deal for Monaco’s Benjamin Mendy stalling, Guardiola is reportedly interested in a move for Sandro.
PSG are in the market for a new left-back after Maxwell’s retirement and PSG’s new sporting director Antero Henrique knows Sandro very from Sandro’s time at Porto.
Chelsea would have to quickly complete a move for the Brazilian to avoid losing him to PSG or Manchester City.
