Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic played a key role as Antonio Conte led Chelsea to the Premier League title in his first season in charge of the Blues.
However, the 28-year-old could be on his way out of Chelsea this summer.
According to Italian media outlet Gazzetta dello Sport via Sport Witness, Juventus have made Matic their number one target for the defensive midfield position this summer.
Juventus reportedly tried to sign Matic last year and the Italians feel they have a better chance of signing the Serbian this year.
Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is close to bringing Monaco midfielder Timoue Bakayoko to Chelsea this summer and the arrival of the French man could signal an end to Matic’s time in Chelsea.
Matic has two years left in his contract and there have been no talks about extending his contract. This does make his Chelsea departure this summer a bit more likely.
