Chelsea would announce the arrival of our new goalkeeper Willy Caballero in the coming days according to a report on Daily Mail.
The 35-year-old goalkeeper, who was recently released by Manchester City, has reportedly agreed terms with Chelsea and is understood to have passed a medical ahead of joining as a replacement for Asmir Begovic.
The 35-year-old goalkeeper could prove to be a quality backup goalkeeper for Chelsea after showing his quality when called upon for Manchester City last season.
Caballero’s Manchester City contract would expire on June 30th and he’s expected to be announced by Chelsea the following day.
Multiple media outlets in his home country, Argentina, have also confirmed not only has he passed his Chelsea medical, he’s already signed a Chelsea contract.
