Real Madrid are reportedly prioritising a transfer move for either Manchester United’s David de Gea or AC Milan’s Gianluigi Donnarumma over Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, a report on Metro UK claims.
This is a huge boost for Chelsea after contract talks with the Belgium goalkeeper stalled amid interest from Real Madrid with his agent claiming he is in constant contact with Real Madrid.
Courtois was outstanding for the Blues as Chelsea won the Premier League title last season and the Antonio Conte would be eager for the 25-year-old goalkeeper to commit his future to Chelsea.
Contract talks between Chelsea and Courtois stalled after the goalkeeper reportedly demanded for wages of about £200,000 per week.
