Diego Costa’s time at Chelsea might be up this summer, with the Spain international revealing a breakdown in his relationship with Chelsea boss Antonio Conte, just a month after celebrating the Premier League title together.
Costa told the media on Wednesday night that Conte doesn’t want him anymore at Stamford Bridge and he wants out of the club.
The 20-goal hero in Chelsea’s title-winning campaign can’t go to Atletico Madrid, as his former club has been banned from signing players this month, and the interest from China seems to have died down.
However, a report by the Mirror claim that Atletico want to give the Chelsea forward an escape route. Atleti are reportedly considering tapping into shareholder Wang Jianlin to engineer a possible move to China – or even AC Milan – until January, where they can now sign players.
According to the Mirror, Atletico Madrid are reportedly considering signing Diego Costa this summer – before loaning him out to China.
The Spanish club hope to tempt Costa to move to China, and are considering tapping into billionaire shareholder Wang Jianlin to engineer a possible move to China in January.
