Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has always been linked with Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci since he joined Chelsea last summer and the rumours just won’t go away.
Conte worked with Bonucci during his time as Juventus manager and he is reportedly keen to link up with Bonucci at Chelsea.
According to beIN Sports correspondent Tancredi Palmeri, talks between Chelsea and the representatives of Bonucci have already begun.
Palmeri claims an offer of £57 million (€65m) has been made to Juventus and a £5.7 million per season deal offered to Bonucci.
30-year-old Bonucci signed a new contract with Juventus in December last year so Juventus aren’t under any pressure to sell.
Does it make sense spending £57 million on a 30-year-old defender?
