Chelsea fans have been frustrated about the lack of signings by Chelsea this summer despite all the rumours linking us with several players. That is now about to change.
Reports coming out from France claim Chelsea have agreed a €40 million (£35m) deal with Monaco for Timoue Bakayoko.
French media outlet L’Equipe via Metro UK claim Chelsea are hopeful the transfer of Bakayoko can be officially announced next week.
According to a tweet by French sport journalist Francois Piraux, Bakayoko is on his way to London this morning from Nice in France after Chelsea agreed a deal with Monaco for the midfielder.
Manchester United’s Jose Mourinho was also interested in signing the midfielder but the lure of playing for the Premier League champions was too much for Bakayoko to resist.
The arrival of Bakayoko will put the future of Nemanja Matic in doubt and various reports have linked Matic with a move to Manchester United and Juventus.
Have heard about this since last week when is it going to happen?
