Chelsea are said to be in talks with Everton to bring back Romelu Lukaku to Stamford Bridge this summer, and the Merseyside club want Chelsea youngster Bertrand Traore as part of the deal.
Traore enjoyed a productive spell on loan with Ajax as he scored 13 goals in 35 games for the Amsterdam club.
West Ham are reportedly set to join the chase for the 21-year-old forward, and reports claim Everton will want him as a sweetener in Chelsea’s move for Lukaku.
With Conte keen on letting Costa leave this summer, the Chelsea boss is understandably pursuing a big-name signing up front and looks to have made Lukaku his priority target.
However, the Daily Mirror claim Everton want to land Traore as part of the deal, meaning the player could complicate things if he ends up leaning towards joining West Ham.
On a personal note, I see Traore as a player with a bright future ahead of him, and we’d definitely regret an outright sale yet again.
