Chelsea are interested in Juventus left-back Alex Sandro and the Blues have seen the first bid of £52 million rejected for the Brazilian.
Chelsea, who have never spent beyond £50 million for a player, have reportedly tabled another bid for the Juve left-back, said to be worth around £60m.
Juventus general manager Giuseppe Marotta has previously said they will accept to sell Sandro for the right price, and it seems £60m is the right price for the Juve chiefs. Marotta said: “A substantial offer has arrived.
“We have no intention of selling anyone but if a player decides to leave, as has happened in previous years, then at the end of the day he has to go.
“We don’t keep anyone against their will.”
Juve have reportedly accepted Chelsea’s new offer and with previous reports claiming Chelsea have already agreed personal terms with Sandro, a deal could as well be announced on July 1st.
