Chelsea midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah want assurances he would get more game time before he signs a new Chelsea contract according to a report on Goal.
The report also claims the 22-year-old is ready to leave Stamford Bridge if his demands of more game time are not met. Chalobah is reportedly not convinced staying at Chelsea is the best option for his career with Tiemoue Bakayoko set to join Chelsea.
Chalobah has just one year left in his Chelsea contract and the option of leaving on loan isn’t an option as Chelsea risk losing him for nothing next season.
Chalobah, who currently earns around £5,000-a-week is reportedly asking for wages of £60,000-a-week in addition to his demands for more game time.
The 22-year-old midfielder picked up an injury in England’s defeat to Germany in the U21 Euros but he is expected to return for preseason on July 7.
