Chelsea have registered an interest in Juventus left-back Alex Sandro and the Blues have even had an offer rejected by Juve for the 26-year-old.
Reports claim the Brazilian who has been likened to Roberto Carlos has been offered an improved new contract from the Italian champions to fend off interest from Chelsea.
The Brazilian has established himself as one of the best full-backs at the moment, and Chelsea have already seen a £52million rejected for the pacy player who could fit in well as a wing-back.
According to Italian news outlet Tuttosport, in an attempt to keep hold of the 26-year-old, the Old Lady have put fresh terms on the table where they hope to tie him down to a new long-term deal.
Chelsea want to go back for the Juve defender with a new bid of £55 million, which will make him the most expensive Chelsea player, the current one is still Fernando Torres who Chelsea paid £50 million for his signature to sign him from Liverpool in 2011.
