Chelsea have been linked with a number of players this summer, from Romelu Lukaku to Alvaro Morata, to James Rodriguez and a host of players, including Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez, Juventus Alex Sandro and Leonardo Bonucci and Southampton’s Virgil van Dijk.
However, of all the deals, a report by the London Evening Standard claims Chelsea are hopeful of finalising deals for Lukaku and Bakayoko rather sooner than later.
While Everton might be the more difficult of the two clubs to crack, Everton’s spending habits plus the news that they are searching for a replacement for Lukaku are evidence that they’d finally give in.
The Toffees have spent nearly £50m on Sunderland goalkeeper Jordan Pickford and Ajax midfielder Davy Klaassen and will want to spend around £50 million on Celtic striker Moussa Dembele.
Although reports claim Chelsea have already agreed terms with free agent Willy Caballero after he left Manchester City and will be announced on the 1st of July.
