Reports claim Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has grown increasingly frustrated with Chelsea’s lack of transfer activity and had expected the club to have confirmed several new arrivals before the start of pre-season next month.
According to the Guardian, Chelsea’s lack of progress in the transfer market has greatly frustrated the 47-year-old. Chelsea are yet to make a signing and rumours claim there has been a fall out with the club’s hierarchy.
The Chelsea manager is expected to return back to first-team training in the first week of July and Chelsea hope to have two new signings waiting for him when he returns.
According to reports, Chelsea will offer Juventus a new and improved £55 million fee for Alex Sandro, which the club are confident will be accepted after the initial bid was outrightly rejected. The report claims Chelsea also seem confident of securing the Tiemoue Bakayako deal before the return of Conte.
Hopefully, we get it right this summer and avoid a repeat of how we failed woefully to defend our title two seasons ago.
