Chelsea young defender Nathan Ake impressed while out on loan in the last two seasons and when Chelsea boss Antonio Conte recalled him from his loan spell at Bournemouth, Chelsea fans were excited the 22-year-old would finally get his chance to shine for Chelsea.
Ake impressed in the few games he played for Chelsea, including an outstanding performance in Chelsea 4-2 FA Cup victory against Tottenham, but Conte’s lack of rotation last season meant he didn’t play as much as he would have wanted.
Ake spent the first-half of last season on loan at Bournemouth and a report on Metro UK claim the 22-year-old would join Bournemouth permanently this summer in a deal believed to be around £20 million.
Bournemouth submitted a bid of £18million for the Netherland international in January but the bid was rejected by Chelsea.
The report by Metro UK claim Ake would complete his move to Eddie Howe’s side when he returns from his holiday in early July.
Can we believe this report by Metro UK? Would Chelsea be doing the right thing if we sold Nathan Ake?
