Chelsea legend John Terry is free to negotiate contracts with other clubs with his Chelsea contract set to expire on June 30th, 2017.
Various clubs have been linked with Terry with Bournemouth leading the race to sign Terry.
However, a report by The Sun claim Terry is open to joining Championship club Aston Villa after the 36-year-old played a game of golf Aston Villa manager Steve Bruce this weekend in Portugal.
The report claims Bruce wants Terry to lead Villa’s promotion charge next season and Terry is keen on the idea of bringing Villa back to the Premier League.
This report is one of those reports in the media you should take with a pinch of salt. Terry wouldn’t go down to the Championship next season when he has several offers to remain in the Premier League.
